What Can I do with Ambivo?
With Ambivo you can make your online content (web site, blogs, personal profile or postings) more interactive by allowing content visitors to chat with you, send you SMS and/or send you emails right from your site with the click of a button. In addition, you can create content pages such as a personal or a corporate profile or a page about your products and services and enable interactions directly from there. You can also create a Public Profile (or link your LinkedIn profile) to market credentials (your talents, resume) and allow others to communicate directly without having to reveal your email address or cell#. You can configure the channels (Chat, SMS, Email) you want to enable on your site or online content. You can set the daily limits on how many Chat or SMS and also the windows of time that you want to accept these incoming communicate requests (known as ‘interactions’). The procedure for doing this is to create an account on ambivo, configure your “interaction and communication widget” (aka ‘Interaction Widget’ or ‘Widget’) and get the Widget code placed on your site.
What are Interactions?
Interactions are communication request or messages from visitors on your website, profile or posting content – think of it as conversations. Interactions can be in the form of Chat, SMS or Email. All your interactions are centrally stored in Messaging portal for you to manage and stay in touch with your prospects, customers and visitors.
Are the Message Transmission secure?
Yes. We use SSL to transmit all conversations and messages between the Widget to your delivery point.
Why Do I need an Account?
An account is needed to store your preferences and inbound messages. With your account you can define the interaction options and review all inblund messages, queries that the visitors sent you.
How Do I cancel My Account?
Log into your account. Navigate to Edit My Private Profile and click on Cancel My Account. Make sure you have used your SMS credit and any pre-paid credit (Ambivo Points) before closing your account.
I want to set the daily limits on interactions for SMS and Chat request per Widget, can I do that?
Yes, you can set the daily limit on how many incoming chat requests and SMS you want to accept. You can also temporarily shut off SMS or Chat if you are busy with another interaction or are not available or are on vacation.
Do I have to be a Programmer to embed the Widget on my website?
No – you don’t need to be a programmer but you need to have access to the website page where you want to place the Widget and be able to paste the Widget’s three line Javacsript code on the header of the page you want the widget to appear.
I don’t have a web site – Can I still benefit from Ambivo?
Yes. You can create content postings (Similar to blog postings) about your Services, Products or any other suitable content. Content Postings are a great way to highlight & market your business, products and services (especially if you are an independent consultant). You can also create a Public Profile (or link your LinkedIn profile) to market credentials (your talents, resume) and allow others to communicate with you via with the widget on your profile and your postings.

What are Content Postings?
Postings are a great way to highlight your products, services or website with pictures and attachments. Each Posting can have its own Interaction widget that tracks the number of views, visits and receives inbound messages for Email, SMS or live chat. We set the validity of a Posting to One month (by default) but you can renew it each month and keep your postings active.
