Ambivo Remote Control
Type or say what you want done. Remote Control does it in your open Ambivo tab while you watch.
Part of the Pro plan
Remote Control works for companies on the Pro plan. AI use is billed to your company. A company admin can turn Remote Control off for the whole company.
Remote Control is a panel next to your Ambivo tab. You give it a command in plain words. It opens pages, fills forms and presses buttons for you, one step at a time. It can also look things up in your Ambivo data and answer you.
Get started

Add it to Chrome.

Sign in to Ambivo in a tab.
Remote Control works as you. It can do what your Ambivo account can do, and nothing more.

Open the panel and give a command.
Click the Ambivo icon in Chrome's toolbar. Type or speak a command, check the words, and press Go.

Shortcuts
A shortcut is a command you save once and run again by typing its name with a slash, such as /month-end. Words after the name are added to the command. Shortcuts are kept in your Ambivo account, so they work in any browser where you use Remote Control.
- Save one. After a command, type
/save month-end. The last command is saved under that name. - See yours. Type
/shortcuts. - Delete one. Type
/forget month-end. - For the whole company. A company admin can save shortcuts that everyone in the company can use.
Ambivo gives every company these Books shortcuts:

/match-bank | Goes through your unmatched bank lines one by one. An exact match is matched for you. For the others it asks you: match it, record it as an expense, add a rule, or skip it. |
/bank-refresh | Refreshes every bank balance and gets new bank transactions, after you say yes. |
/books-check | Checks that the trial balance and the balance sheet balance, that net income matches, and that documents are posted and bank lines matched. |
/posting-check | Lists the documents that are not posted to the ledger, and why. |
/qb-check | Says whether QuickBooks is connected and what failed to sync. |
How you stay in control
- It asks first. It asks you before it deletes anything, sends anything to people, spends money or changes your books.
- Passwords stay yours. It never changes a password. You do that yourself.
- You can stop it. Press Stop at any time.
- Your voice. A spoken command waits for you to check it. It never runs on its own.
- Your data. The privacy policy says what Remote Control reads and keeps.
- Your company decides. If your company's policy does not allow Remote Control, a company admin can turn it off for the whole company in Settings. It then stops for everyone, including a command that is already running.
- Only Ambivo. It works only on ambivo.com pages. It cannot see other websites, your other tabs or the files on your device. It works only while you are signed in to Ambivo in this browser.
Good to know
- Languages. Speak or type in English, Spanish, Turkish, French or German.
- Follow-ups. It remembers your last few commands for 15 minutes, so you can say "of these, which came from Google".
- Long tasks. A command stops after 25 steps. Tell it what is left and it carries on.
